- Personal experience: Content about the Umrah journey, rituals, and practical planning draws on the author’s personal experience of performing Umrah from the UAE.
- Official government sources: Visa requirements, regulatory information, and Saudi government policy are verified against official sources including the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (haj.gov.sa), the Nusuk platform (nusuk.sa), and UAE government portals.
- Authentic Islamic sources: Religious guidance is based on the Quran, authentic hadith collections (primarily Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim), and the documented positions of major Islamic scholarly schools.
- Market research: Package pricing, flight fares, and cost estimates are based on research into current UAE market offerings at the time of writing.
How We Handle Uncertainty and Disagreement
Where information is subject to change (such as visa requirements, pricing, and Saudi regulations), we state this explicitly and include a disclaimer directing readers to verify current information from authoritative sources.
Where genuine scholarly disagreement exists on a religious question (such as the Mahram requirement for women’s travel), we present the range of scholarly positions honestly rather than simplifying to a single answer. We do not issue religious rulings.
Where we are uncertain about a specific fact, we say so. We do not present estimates or indicative figures as confirmed facts.
Content Updates and Corrections
We review and update content on this site when:
- Saudi government regulations change (particularly visa rules, vaccination requirements, and Nusuk platform procedures)
- A reader or expert identifies an inaccuracy
- Significant market changes affect the accuracy of price estimates
