About UmrahFromUAE.com
UmrahFromUAE.com exists because planning Umrah from the UAE is harder than it should be.
If you have ever tried to find accurate, up-to-date information about Umrah packages, visa requirements, or costs specifically for UAE residents, you know the problem: most of what comes up online is either written for a global audience, outdated, or produced by travel agencies with a direct financial interest in what you book.
This site was built to be different. Every guide on this site is written specifically for people living in the UAE — UAE nationals, long-term expat residents, and workers saving for their first Umrah. Costs are in AED. Airlines are the ones that fly from Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Visa guidance reflects the requirements for UAE residence visa holders. The questions we answer are the ones UAE residents actually ask.
Who Is Behind This Site
UAE-based Muslim who has lived in the UAE for 5+ years and has performed Umrah many times from UAE. After years of helping family members, colleagues, and community members navigate the planning process — answering the same questions repeatedly about which agency to use, how much to budget, what documents are needed, and how the Nusuk permit works — this site became the resource that should have existed all along.
Every post on this site is personally written and reviewed. When information involves religious rulings — such as Ihram requirements, Mahram rules, or ritual guidance — sources are cited and, where there is genuine scholarly disagreement, both positions are presented honestly rather than oversimplified.

What This Site Does Not Do
This site does not sell Umrah packages or earn commission from travel agencies. We do not have affiliate relationships with hotels, airlines, or booking platforms. No advertiser has paid to have their product or service recommended here.
Cost estimates and price ranges are provided as planning guidance only — they are not quotes and should always be verified with licensed UAE travel agencies before booking. Visa and regulatory information reflects the rules at the time of publication and is subject to change; always verify current requirements with official sources.
